THIS MONTH'S TOPIC:
Selling in the Digital World
Selling has changed. In days of old, salespeople sat across from their prospects and had conversations in their offices. Boardroom presentations were the norm and it was impossible to sell without an in-person meeting.
Even the advent of telephones didn't change the way we met with and sold our prospects. We still had to meet with prospects in-person. Salespeople would drive or fly across the country to meet with potential clients.
Fast forward to today and we encounter digital technology that has carved a new design on the face of selling. Telephone conversations and in person meetings still occur every day, but those telephone conversations are now done through videoconferencing, online platforms, and other technologies, and digital marketing is playing an enormous role in the digital world of selling.
